Kevin May, JD

Kevin is a partner at the law firm of Graves May, PLLC where he focuses his practice primarily in the areas of tax planning and controversy, estate planning, and corporate law. Kevin applies both his business training and his legal know how to find solutions for his clients’ widely varying tax and estate planning concerns. Kevin applies the same knowledge base to his Ascendor clients to maximize tax savings while planning for the client’s future. He values long-term planning and ensuring that the clients do not forget the two unavoidable things - death and taxes.

Kevin earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Campbell University and also received his Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law. He is eligible for and currently preparing for the Certified Public Accountant exam.

He and his wife met while living in Raleigh and married in 2006. When not working they both enjoys spending time with their two daughters. They have a heart for missions work and are active members at Coastal Community Baptist Church. When at home, Kevin loves relaxing on the beach, reading, and watching football.
